Game Rules & Scoring
1. Scoring System
Points are awarded based on the accuracy of your prediction compared to the actual match result.
-
3 Points (Exact Match): Awarded if you predict the exact score of the match.
Example: You bet 2-1 and the match ends 2-1. -
1 Point (Correct Result): Awarded if you predict the correct outcome (Win, Draw, or Loss) but not the exact score.
Example: You bet 2-1 (Home Win), but the match ends 3-0 (Home Win). - 0 Points: Awarded if your prediction of the outcome is incorrect.
2. Betting Window & Locking
- Round Locking: Bets for a specific round are locked based on the Official Lock Date/Time set for that round. This is typically set to before the first game of the round begins.
- Global Lock: Once the round is locked (based on the system date/time or manual administrator action), no further changes, updates, or new bets can be made for any game in that round.
3. Special Bets (G-4 & R-4)
Predict the teams that will finish in the Top 4 (G-4) and Bottom 4 (R-4) positions at specific stages of the championship.
-
Middle of Championship: Predictions for the standings at the end of the 19th Round (First Half).
- Points are calculated and awarded after Round 20 results are entered. -
End of Championship: Predictions for the final standings after the 38th Round.
- Points are calculated and awarded after Round 38 results are entered. -
Scoring: You earn 2 Points for each team you correctly predict in their exact position.
Example: If you predict Club A to finish 1st, and they finish 1st, you get 2 points. If they finish 2nd, you get 0 points.
